What is Cala De Egos Like?
The beach is in a mountainous landscape with lots of pine trees and bushes, making this beautiful beach quite hidden and exclusive.
The water is calm, clear, and warm. And the sand is soft, perfect for lounging in the sun.
Location
On foot, you must ascend the mountain and proceed for 20 to 30 minutes via difficult paths in order to reach Cala d’Egos. You can travel there by boat or kayak in a short amount of time from the Port of Andratx. Or take public transport to the walking point.
Restaurants, Bars & Facilities
If you want bars and restaurants, you will need to go to the Port of Andratx, which is 4 km away. We highly recommend going to Marisquería Galicia, Restaurante el Coche, Waikiki Beach, and Bar Restaurante Es Brollador.
Lifeguard & Watersports
There is no lifeguard on duty and no watersports at Cala Egos beach.
Is Cala De Egos Family-friendly?
It is well-protected from waves, allowing for calm waters suitable for children. But there is no lifeguard, and many people go nude on the beach due to how hidden it is.
Where to Park at Cala De Egos
Access to the beach is quite challenging. You can only get there by boat or on foot as it is a bit of a walk/hike. You will need to park at your hotel. You can park your car near the Andratx port and then follow Cala d’Egos road on foot till you reach Cala Egos beach.
